Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • Curry powder, 1 tea spoon
  • Nzenga (skinned and broken maize), 1 kilogram
  • Butter, 1 table spoon
  • Coriander powder, 1 tea spoon
  • 1 Chicken
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • Cooking fat, 2 table spoons

Boil water. Wash the nzenga and put them in water.

Add butter and boil till tender. Cut the chicken into pieces.

Wash the tomatoes, chop onions, fry until brown.

Add curry powder, add the chicken and tomatoes.

Cook for 15 min, turn and add some salt.

Simmer until tender. Serve hot.
