  • Maize meal, 2 cups

In a large saucepan, boil the water.

Sprinkle maize meal into the boiling water, stirring.

Cook the porridge for 20 min until is very thick and smooth

Stir continuously to keep the mixture from sticking or burning.

Cover the pot and leave on a very low heat for 10-15 more minutes to finish the cooking

Season to taste
